Ben’s Testimony
July 11, 2007
Ben D’Ardenne returns from his 2 month stint to Uganda. What does someone who has been in Africa have to say after 2 months? “I realized that I am living my dream. Ever since I decided to follow Jesus in 8th grade my dream was to go and be a missionary in the jungles of Africa living in a hut. While the 500 acres I live on is not jungle, I am living in a hut in Africa in order to share Jesus with the people here. I guess that dream was something God put there.”

College Students at Restoration Gateway!
July 1, 2007
JT Lloyd and Jenny Smith led an Antioch Community Church college missions trip to Uganda. Oh the sights they saw! They were able to go on a Safari and ministered to the people on the Land. They also held something like a Bible camp where they played games, taught Bible stories, and memorized Scripture with over 400 orphans. At the end of it all, they all felt, “The trip was amazing. The team was wonderful. The people and the country were beautiful. We were blessed with great health. Not once did we feel that our safety was threatened (well, except once by ants!).
